Michael Squire lives in Berlin. And he is heading to stardom over there.
Michael was born and grew up in Perth, WA.  He went to Europe with his band four years ago where they played at various locations in Germany during the word cup and their success lead them to a tour through Germany, England and other countries. The other band members returned to Australia but Michael ended up staying in Berlin. And he loves it.
He is currently performing in Frankfurt and Cologne as a support act for Ingrid Michaelson and will release his debut album "your love grows in the sunshine" in June.
Just recently Michael started a video blog. It's quiet funny to see how he moves around in Berlin, plays with his band mates etc. For a glimpse check out his website and should you be in Germany in the near future you might be able to see him at one of his concerts.

Was Michael Squire an Australien fehlt? Er muss ziemlich lange nachdenken, wenn man ihm diese Frage stellt. Heimweh ist etwas, das erst in letzter Zeit wieder vorkommt. Eigentlich erst, seit er seine erste eigene Wohnung bezogen hat...  Ausser seiner Familie faellt ihm nicht sehr viel ein. "Der Strand fehlt. Ich habe immer am Wasser gelebt.", sagt er nach einer Weile. Und fuegt an, dass er gerne an einen der Seen rund um Berlin ziehen wuerde.
