The annual German Film Festival returns to Melbourne from 19 April-30 April 2012.
Hosting cinemas will be The Kino Cinema (45 Collins Street, City) and The Palace Cinema Como (Corner of Toorak Rd and Chapel Street, Sth. Yarra).
The program will be announced in mid March.
This years retrospective will place a particular focus on director Leander Haussmann.
His films include Sonnenallee (1999), Herr Lehmann (2003), NVA (2005), Warum Maenner nicht zuhoeren und Frauen schlecht einparken (2007) and Hotel Lux (2011).
