Australian journalists interested in producing work which involves research in Germany are invited to apply for the annually awarded “German Grant for Journalism”. The Australian National Press Club and the German Embassy in Canberra call for journalists to present their idea for a project in relation to this year’s theme: “Germany, land of ideas”.
All applications must to be submitted to The National Press Club of Australia by 15 June 2010.
The German Grant for Journalism is annually awarded to a writer or an electronic broad casting program maker for submissions put forward for a project of journalistic work involving research in Germany....The German Government will meet the costs of business class travel between Australia and Germany and of a two week stay in Germany for a program organised in accordance with the wishes of the winner of the grant.  Hotel accommodation, meals and travel within Germany are included as well as interpreter/guide services.
